As an engineer or project manager at HELVETING, you work in many different projects in-house at HELVETING and/or at the customer’s site and thereby supply qualitatively high quality services. Furthermore, you are pleased to contribute your skills in interdisciplinary teams.

Career model

Our career model with functional levels and roles determines the socials and technical skills as well as the professional experience or the term of employment respectively you have to acquire in order to take a step forward. Your path of development will be defined together with your superior. The rendered performances will be evaluated in yearly qualification discussions and a potential next career step will be commonly determined.

Competence centres

Our engineers and scientists provide a great variety of technical competences which are fostered and developed further in the competence centres. As a member in a competence centre, you can contribute your expertise and refine it. With respective expertise, commitment and qualification you can assume control of a competence centre. Whenever it is possible, you are assigned to projects in which you can apply your strengths specifically.

Work life balance

With our annual working time model, we can take better account of the project business. At the same time, the entrepreneurial thinking and action of every single employee is demanded and benefited. Together with your superior, the employees plan and perform their working hours in accordance with the actual workload. The success of the annual working time is mainly based on the willingness of the flexible employment in intensive periods and of the compensation of overtime in calmer times.

Further training at HELVETING

With HELVETING Campus, we want to enhance the multifaceted knowledge of our employees and make it generally accessible. The internal course programme in HELVETING Campus covers various necessities:

  • Targeted further training for the employment in projects
  • To arouse interest in a subject and to expand the specialised knowledge
  • To train methodologies and social competences
  • To allow to enter an area of knowledge

In course of the HELVETING Campus, our employees take free courses and improve themselves also self-motivated. External further developments can be financed by the individual training funds. Every employee possesses a performance depending fund in which training resources in the amount of a 14th monthly salary can be earned.
